Nimbus, racing puzzler using Ogre

Post by Sairon »

Me and a mate went independent earlier this year and have now submitted our first game to IGF. We also use Particle Universe for the particle systems. A small play though of the first level can be seen at http://www.vimeo.com/7380003 :)

Very interesting concept, and the game looks polished enough :D
The idea of a "racing puzzle" is really neat!

What plans do you have for the game?

Awesome! :D
And I am not even remotely a fan of the genre. :)
Could you throw in a screenshot, please?

Looks really good, and fun to play! As Jacmoe says, a few screenshots would be nice.

Very nice. I love 2d thrust games, but I never would have thought of taking the thrust part away :) Nice idea.

wow i really like the game idea. Good luck with IGF!
if i have 1 critique for the game it would be: the cannons look too much like those water containers that go on top of water coolers:
Image
i would not have known they were cannons >_< i would have thought it was water. Maybe just a palette change on them would do it!
Congrats and good luck on going indie the game is looking nicely polished!! :)

Wow, it's going on Steam? That's awesome! How much is it going to be sold for?

Good luck with the Steam release, I'm sure it will be quite popular.

Thanks guys, really appreciate the support! It's now available on steam, very exciting to see how it goes, the winter is rather harsh here in Sweden

I bought it yesterday and really really like it. It is one of the games were you just can't stop once you started playing it, because it has this just-one-more-level-effect. (or rather one-more-try, as the game is really hard)
