PhysBam - Stanford open-source physics package

Post by xavier »

Another physics library option:

http://physbam.stanford.edu/

The code is being open-sourced in phases as they clean it up and reorganize it.

While the package is more geared towards the film and post industry, my guess is that someone can make use of it in conjunction with Ogre.

Wasn't there a lighthouse water demo demonstrated by Nvidia a year or two back? Could that be this? Or am I thinking of something else?

Either way, it looks pretty cool. Nice licence as well.

Wow, Xavier - thanks a lot! :)

Looks like MIT license?
I can't see the difference between them, but it's refreshing to see an edu library under such a nice license.
<edit>It's really a complete toolset - collection - nice find!</edit>
/* Less noise. More signal. */
Ogitor Scenebuilder - powered by Ogre, presented by Qt, fueled by Passion.

Added it to the Wiki page (physics lib section) and cleaned up that section as well.
