Hi,
is there any documentation about the Paging Component available? The API docs are sparse here and I can't find a wiki entry. I want to have a look on whether and how to use it for the Volume Rendering.

Re: Any documentation of the Paging Component available?
I'm afraid not. From what I got by looking into the component it was basically "laid out" in code yet waiting for real practical usage. The latter has been attempted within the initial Terrain Component implementation but didn't quite work out the first time. But I'm not sure if fixing those required massaging the paging (I didn't follow the terrain related GSoC). So I guess documenting that wasn't a good idea at that point. Maybe it is now as the updated Terrain Component does paging well from what I read.
Anyway, it's pretty straightforward. You should be able to deal with it without the extensive documentation. Refer to the code when in doubt.

It was initially discussed in this topic: http://www.ogre3d.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=48320
I'm looking forward to your integration of paging, your work with volume rendering is the future!
