Back again after much time off from playing around with iPhone Ogre stuff.
Resurrected an old iPhone project that was working fine on Ogre v1.7.
Updated to latest v1.8 from the repository. GLES works fine (although specifying 2d 0 at the end of a texture in the material scripts caused it to always render white!??)
Trying GLES2 results in just a black screen, although the debug shows everything loading in fine.
I realise there could be a multitude of issues, but any thoughts?

Did you set up the RTSS? It's necessary for fixed function emulation.

No. Excuse my ignorance but how do I do that? Just had a quick look through the Wiki, but couldn't find any reference to it.

Check out SampleBrowser.h. The ShaderGeneratorTechniqueResolverListener class, initializeRTShaderSystem and finalizeRTShaderSystem functions are most important.
