Some fun details:
- Can play bluray and dvd movies, but only if you download a patch and do an online activation (one time) of the video feature.
- Can't play audio cds
- Can't play mp3s
- Can upload up to 15min of recorded gameplay video to Facebook when you press the Share button. But no Youtube support. Just Facebook.
- The DualShock 4 controller is (at least partially) pc compatible, you can plug it in with usb and basic functionality will work. Probably not touch screen though, at least yet.

You wonder if the facebook thing somehow a result of them giving Sony a bag of money for that exclusive feature...

I bet a driver comes out for it which will enabled the other functions on the controller. It surprised me years ago when they got Bluetooth working with the PS3 one.

Or sony can do the cleaver thing and release a driver for it to prompt sales of the controllers for pc's

Every console controller has ended up on PC at some point, thanks to reverse engineering hackers. It's a bit surprising to see Sony having some support for PC at launch. As long as they don't cripple it, like MS did with the 360 controller when they made DirectInput treat the two triggers as additive values on a single axis.

To me, allowing removing all notification is the killer feature. Damn trophies breaking the suspension of disbelief!!!
