Well, I've been eyeing MediaWiki for a while. It's a very slick wiki system, and much cleaner than the one we've been using. I've ported over the existing content and everything, so we're live and ready to go. I am secretly hoping that a prettier wiki will encourage more people to use and contribute to it.
Yeah, I'm still around, just mostly lurking. I've been horrendously busy with work and life, and haven't had the time for personal projects lately. I intend to pick it back up as soon as life stops trying to kill me.
Wow, great work Antiarc. It looks awesome (reminds me of wikipedia.org ) I hope we can generate some interest in it to have it take off. Just have to get it past the activation/binding energy.
The new Wiki looks really good. Thanks for the time and energy you've spent in setting it up, Antiarc. I'll try to see where I might contribute to the effort.
I think it could be nice to enable them: it make the tutorial more attractive to read an less "dry-text-only". a good picture worth more than a long explanation text
(but maybe it is for security reasons, I understand...)
nfz, if you need image hosting for a tutorial just mail them to me (link at the bottom of the message). I'll drop them somewhere on my site and you can link them on the wiki.
I've have no problem putting the images on my server its just I wasn't able to get the images viewable on the wiki. Links work but its a pain to have to click on each link to see the image which pops up in a new window. Maybe I have missed something in getting this to work?
