What Do the 2.x Branches Mean

Post by Emersont1 »

on Ogre's bitbucket page, if you look at the branches, there's 2.1, 2.1-UAV and 2.1-PSO, can somebody explain what the differences are?
thanks

Those are experimental/WIP (and I guess... not recommended for use, unless you want to contribute) versions that matias aka dark_sylink is working on to add support for:
Unordered Access View
Pipeline State Object

what are those... I have no idea xD haven't look at it

Yes, go for the "2.1" branch.

The other two (PSO & UAV) are temporary and experimental. Eventually they'll get merged with the main 2.1
