Thought I'd share a recent video of the Age of Sail game I've been working on using Ogre3D 1.14 as the renderer.
It's a single-player RPG with a big focus on physics and interaction. Ships have physically simulated sails and rigging, cannonballs can damage and pass through the ship structure, debris is physically simulated, and I'm generally trying to make as much of the world actually react as possible rather than relying on scripted effects.
On the rendering side I'm using a forward PBR pipeline with extended local SH light probe IBL (will push over to ogre), ACES tonemapping, PSSM shadows, SMAA for anti-aliasing, SSR, "modern bloom", and lots of other bits ive prob missed out.
There's still a huge amount to do and is very much a WIP, but it's finally getting to the point where I'm happy to start showing more of it.
