Powered by ogre? from where...

Post by PraetorBlue »

Where could I get a small graphic that says this? I'll see if I can't get it added to supremacygame.com with a link to ogre.org. I can't seem to find one on the ogre site, but perhaps I'm not looking in the right places.

Thanks,
Vance

The latest cvs has a graphic in the Samples/Media/Textures directory that might fit your needs.

By the way, congratulations on Supremacy!

I agree that there really should be an official "Powered by Ogre" graphics!
This should definately be done - thank you PraetorBlue for the willingness to give credit! :)

Alright I pulled two basic ones together, based purely on the new logo:

Cool. Maybe another one with a not so modest dimension?

I can make a series of normal advert sizes tonight. That's just a normal button size for now.

Thanks a ton temas, I'll pass this thread along to the folks updating the website, and see if we can't get a link up there. We really do appreciate all the community has done for us, and it makes sense to have a link back here. :)

If you're looking for a splash-screen size, ogrenew/Samples/Media/materials/textures/ogrelogo.png should suit you fine, it's even squashed so that when displayed at 1.33 aspect it looks right :)

I've been assured that a "powered by Ogre" logo and link will be up on supremacygame.com by Friday.

The "Powered by Ogre" graphic can now be found on the main page of www.supremacygame.com. I've been told that due to the design of that front page, it's not possible (?) to make that into a link. However, I've also been told that a link to Ogre will be included on our FAQ page shortly.

Hmm, that's a funky page design (in code that is), though I have seen others like that. The Ogre graphic is embedded into the background image screenshot, so I can see how a link isn't possible with the current page design.

Anyways, looks like a nice game... to bad it's only for Windows

Someday, there will be great games that can only be played on Linux... :P
