hi,everyone.
i am a entry level of 3d studio max user and immediate in xsi.
my company would like to use ORGE as our project enginee, i got problems when i tried to export for testing today.
our project will be some character with change clothes feature, and basic animation. so i cut the character as 3 part, one is head, body and lower body. i group head with hair, and clothes with hand, and skirt with feet.
i also made animation to try out. so i assign my bone to each part of character,ex:spline goes to cloth(of coz..duh~~!) and so on.
then i tried to export,i got problems come, first,my model is not only one mesh,,how do i export this? second:when i tried to export, the error shows: no"-" function for undefined...
what's this mean?
and i also have a question, coz i dont think i do so well job in 3ds,i saw there is plug in for xsi, right?
my co worker actually asked me to installed it,but i just got importer working not exporter???why is that??
is ORGE support 4.2 as well?
thank you very very much.
sorry,im newbie in game industry...
help for exporting,

Hi aznlz:
Firstly I might not be able to answer all the questions you have. All I know is about 3DSMAX.
When you try to export a character with 3DSMAX's Orge exporter, you need to have only one object. And if you want to have him able to change the cloth, you need to assign different material ID onto the different area that you want to change the piece. Programmer can hide the object under sub-object mode. That means programmer can hide and show parts of the object with material IDs.
