No - a new thread. I was reading through one of the other forums and saw lots and lots of people wanting to start MMORPGs. Was just something I was thinking and thought I'd get it off my chest in the General Discussion forum.
It's not important anyway - just thought a bit of off-topic wittering coudl be in order.
Just noticed you're rpoject - it's a standard RPG isn't it? I don't envy those who try to do the MM versions.
I don't have any experience in the game industry *yet* but in my experience, anything that you have to keep maintaining and running and keeping people happy is a nightmare. Much nicer to have set release dates.
Yes, it is a single player game. When we have a decent version out, we plan to add multiplayer functionality, not MMORPG but a game master driven game, much like the Neverwinter Night multiplayer part. But till today nothing is done on the MP part, we only make sure, that no decision we make hinders us in making it multiplayer.
