OGRE Websurvey - Please participate !
We are two students from the University of Gävle in Sweden, and we are currently working on our degree project.
The project is based on comparing two open source 3D-engines. One of them is OGRE, and it would help us a lot, if you could participate in this web-survey, and answer some questions.
The survey is completely anonymous, and the data collected will be reviewed by us and no one else.
The survey is located here:
http://www.pinballhighscores.org/survey_ogre/survey.php
Thanks..
/Jens

Sorry, I can't reveal the name of the other engine, at least not until the survey is over.
Since the results are going in to our project report, or "article" or whatever, you can probably check that out when it's done.. which will be sometime in the beginning of June.
Thanks to all who have answered so far !

The other engine must be IrrLicht.

It makes sense. The other OpenSource engine out there worth comparing is IrrLicht.

There will be concrete comparisons, like the very simple game we are making. And we will also test the engines rendering performance in some way, later on.
The project had to be based on something, so we chosed user friendliness, and rendering performance, two things we think is important.
There will also be other comparisons, but the focus will be on the above mentioned criterias.
The survey is simply a sort of information collection, so we have something to refer to, when writing the report.
Since an active community is important regarding open source software, we thought it would be appropriate to ask the communites who they are, and what they think.
And there will be no announced "Winner", it is not what this is about..
