Heh curious thing, we were discussing this on the Ogre IRC channel. Unfortunately, I cannot find documentation on loading it, as this is a Getic bsp, not a quake 3 bsp. If someone does, a scenemanager can be made and it will be a good ogre tool.

This fileformat is free and its published online, so loading it is extreamly easy. This bsp format looks like from an older engine i used not too long ago

What is not clear about this getic files, is if the tools to make them are free or not, the file format is free, but the IBSP 0x2e too, the Q3 bsp

In case the tools are not free, at least they are supposed to be very cheap, as the site talks about a registration fee, not about licensing costs

bsp is too old tech, as i stated several times

Well, good luck in case you decide to use it

I read on the Getic site that once you paid the (not very big) registration fee, all further use is free.
I would recommend getting the latest Getic version - it appears to be similar to Cartography Shop, but cheaper - and the format is open and easy to grasp.
/* Less noise. More signal. */
Ogitor Scenebuilder - powered by Ogre, presented by Qt, fueled by Passion.
OgreAddons - the Ogre code suppository.

GETIC3D 1.20 Is FREE !

Post by Angdre »

I see this on the download page.

GETIC3D 1.20 Is FREE !
Updates are visible only for Getic 1.2 purchasers starting July 16.

I think it's mean "V1.2 is free but registered user got support & update".

BTW hope someone can make this tool useful with ogre

lol Awesome, they even give some code away from ZalEngine. I'm sticking with my dual dotScene dotEnt system, but I'm sure someone can find a use for this.
