This quote from Bill Hicks sums up my feelings on politics in both the US and UK:

"I think the puppet on the right reflects my beliefs."
"I think the puppet on the left is more to my liking."
"Hey wait a minute, its the same guy holding up both puppets!"

I think whoever you vote for is still going to increase taxes, gradually strip away our human rights in the name of security and scare-mongering, and start more wars.
