Squirrel bindings for Ogre... "SqOgre?"

I'm looking to initiate or support a project that would wrap OGRE functionality into Squirrel (http://squirrel-lang.org/) bindings. I know some attempts have been made using SqPlus, but I would like a fully-featured project out in the community... something along the lines of Python-Ogre. If any developers are interested, I'm open to providing sponsorship so feel free to contact me via PM.
