Gary Gygax, 'Father of D&D,' Dies at 69

Some pretty funny comments in this article (ones Gygax probably would have laughed at himself), but lots of folks paying their respect.

"I guess the Grim Reaper had a great THAC0"
"What loot did he drop?"
"He is the only man ever that can be said to be happily rolling in his grave."

This guy had a pretty profound effect on a lot of lives, including a lot of game designers and game players who may have never even touched the player's handbook.

Yeah he did! If you consider the number of games that are derivative of, or even simply draw some components form D&D, it's astonishing!

At first, I thought it said 'father of D3D', and the comments completely baffled me.
