I think Xavier, myself and many others would like to hit you across the head for posting that link.

I've suspended radioman's account -- he simply won't stop. I expect we'll see him back under a different name, though.

thanks

Thanks for your answer. Your link is very useful, but I do not know if people of the editorial know about that downloadable version.
Anyway, for me and maybe a lot of readers, should prefer to have a printed copy of the book (with all advantages of the case).
I know too about people who like to read online or print the file. It is almost the same. The point is that in Mexico, this book it is not available. Only from amazon store (or another) ...and customs, taxes, shippings, etc. You know what I mean.
Thank you for your note.

We know about it, and we don't approve. The forum rules clearly state:
Intellectual Property Rights - You must not post material that is copyrighted...
We've warned radioman before about posting links to pirated material, but he seems not to want to obey the rules, so xavier is completely right to kick him out.

You can purchase & download the e-book direct from Apress if you can't get a physical copy. I assume someone has ripped off that in order to pirate a copy, but I urge you to go through the right channels if you want a copy.

The file he posted is still there. Perhaps Xavier could ask the download company that is hosting the book could remove it due to copyright infringement.

How many users does Ogre have in Lithuania? Just ban the lot of them.

I think we should lock this thread, the discussion about the existence of the ripped book only adds to the problem. We should lock any thread about this topic as soon as it appears. Once there is a file on emule you can't stop it, but we can stop talking about it, exposing the existence and talking about it doesn’t help our friend Xavier.
