Search a project for GSoC

Post by Wiss »

hi all !
I'm student in SUPINFO (french engineer school, you can find more details here).
I heard about GSoC 2 days ago, and I really want to participate because it's an enormous opportunity for me !

I had C courses past year, and C++ courses this year. So I can work for an ogre project.

Could you say me if some projects are free ? And what are the skills requested by these projects ? Like that, I'll submit an GSoC application for you, and you'll say me more advise if you need more infomations.

Hope I can do this before the deadline :)

Thanks for all,
I hope join your community !

Bests regards,
Adrien LEMAIRE (alias Wiss on irc)

You're fortunate that Google extended the student application deadline to the 7th April yesterday, so you have another week to get your application in.

Without any offence, but are you shure, that less than one year programming experience gained in a university class is enough to contribute to a complex project as OGRE...? Don't get me wrong, but even digging into OGRE takes several weeks...
