Numpad Or Numrow?

To enter numbers while programming, do you use the numpad, or the row of keys above the letters in the keyboard?

It depends, typing normally such as sentences or blocks of code I use the numrow but for long-digits or using a calculator the numpad.

Your poll has a missing option though, what happens if you have a numrow but no numpad?

I added a "Both" option, since I use both, depending on what it is I am entering.

I never got used to the numpad, actually I found it to be in the way by moving the mouse further away. So my current keyboard doesn't even have one

I like the numpad, but since I'm usually on a laptop I have to stick with the numrow.

I switch between a laptop and a desktop computer very often so i use both too.

Numrow for single digits within sentences, numpad for entering long numbers.

I manually calculate the Ascii values by subtracting other letters from each other.

Or if I have one, A numpad

I use both so I voted both, but I vastly prefer the numpad for anything but single or adjacent digits.

Numrow for the win! I have a numpad in both my desktop and laptop computers thought have never gotten used to it. I simply find the numrow much more comfortable (but it's probably just me XD)

I use the numpad for games (camera stuff, etc) when they already have it set up that way. I also used to use it for arrows (I didn't like the arrow key block shape) years ago.

But I've never used it for typing numbers.

Hmm, maybe they should shrink the zero key and put a comma key in there. When entering a lot of numbers I'm sure commas would be handy.

Yeah, I think the only things I use a numpad for are games (if they need 'em), and Blender.

I am only using the num row, but if i had to enter numbers all day long i would definately use the numpad.
