VS 2003 .sln file association incorrect

Something is screwed up with the file association for my .SLN files. The icon for them is the icon for .cpp files (which makes it a little confusing to say the least). It still opens correctly in VS.NET 2003, but when I go to Tools->Folder Options->File Types and click Restore for the .SLN file type, the icon changes back to the .SLN icon but Windows no longer knows what to open it with. When I change the file association back to VS.NET 2003, the icon changes back to the CPP icon. So it looks like I can either have the correct icon, or have it open properly, but not both.
Has anyone ever had this problem, or know how to fix it???

Do you have both 2003 and 2005 installed? I've had problems with this with 2005 and 2008 (for some reason it sorted itself out tho, so sorry I can't help more :( )

No, I only have 2003. I do, however, have it installed in two places. I have it installed on the C:\ drive, but I'm working off an external hard drive that I backed up another computer on, so .NET 2003 is installed there as well. But that location isn't in the environment variables or anything, and in the file association I'm pretty sure it's pointing to devenv.exe on the C:\ drive.
