Well, in fact the donation link on the wiki points to the Ogre sourceforge donation site (where indeed the last donation is from 2007). Wasn't there a way to donate directly over ogre3d.org once (that was used quite a lot)? There also was a list with all the contributors (= donaters). There must be another thread samewhere here in the forum.

--> So the way via Sourceforge isn't the current one afaik, but we should wait for sinbad to clear that up.

You're right.
Sinbad stated some time ago that the preferred way was to donate directly via PayPal.
That link has vanished.

Yeah, but the pages with the detailed information on ogre3d.org have disapeared (I guess since the reset of the servers). I'll write sinbad a PM concerning this.

I was in such a rush to pull all the data back I concentrated on the most important things and obviously forgot about this.

Thanks for thinking of it, it had completely slipped my mind. I'll see about putting it back; I have some other admin work to do this weekend anyway (new version of WordPress to test, trying not to get out of date with software this time) but once that's out of the way I'll hunt out the old page (I have a copy of the old website locally).
