Ahmm...not not totally sure, but I thought in order to write private messages here on the board you have to be logged in (at least I have to). So how does it come that this guest is able to write one? Is this Chuck Norris

? Did I miss something obvious or is this even a bug in phpBB3?

Anyone (registered or not) can be on the "make a PM" page -- it doesn't mean there actually is a Guest(spambot)-originated PM coming to someone.

When a guest tries to compose a pm, their status says they are composing a pm, but all they really get is the standard log in screen. They need to enter a name and password before they can continue.
The same happens for other stuff like viewing profiles, replying to threads, etc. It says they are doing it, but really they get stuck at the log in part.
