Blast from the past - Sourceforge

Post by jacmoe »

I really can't believe it used to look like this:
http://terraform.sourceforge.net/

*sigh* feeling a bit nostalgic. :D

I really think that logo was great. :)

Way better than the current one.
In fact, Sourceforge has turned into an awful mess.
The last web upgrade was a disaster: how can anyone find the interface attractive, or even remotely productive?!
They are doing it wrong!

Am I the only one who believes sourceforge usability became worse with every overhaul?
The presentation now wants to be web2.0ish but fails in contrast to sites like github, launchpad or bitbucket.

Edit: Ok, I am not, missed the update on the original post.
