This pretty cool. I've often wondered while trying to read email in the morning before I've put my contacts in, how blind people would get on with programming. Also looks like they have developed a programming language that is more 'natural' than most.
Thinking about it, one thing that we take for granted is the speed at which sighted people can scan a large source file, and zero in on the part you want to edit. Doing this with a screen reader I imagine would be hard unless you kept the file sizes very small or perhaps set bookmarks everywhere.

When I was in school, some years back, there was a blind guy in my CS1 class. I always wondered how he did the amount of work that we had to do... Specially later on when we had to write emulators of mips machines, etc.
I wonder if any blind people use ogre? On the bright side, least it's one less programmer we have to compete with for an opengl job
