Propersition for all Ogre community members.

A place for employers, project leaders etc to post if they are looking for people to assist with an Ogre-based project. Please only post in this area if you have a _serious_ project proposition for which you already have something to show for.

Propersition for all Ogre community members.

Post by bunnyman3344 »

Ok, now hear me out, i have been trying forever to get havok to work with Ogre and it's going no where so I'm willing to pay someone to work with me to build an engine together, all i need is a few things set up and that's it, i'll do the rest, tell ,me how much you'd like and i'll consider it but i'm desparete here..... my friend ben can set up havok with anything in his sleep.......GAH and he's pretty much cut off contact with me, i was working with this guy from the UK (he had the username theone on the irrlicht forum i think) but things kinds went sour and we've lost touch if he's here. please let him respond and let's try to work togewther again, i finally managered to set up Ogre my self (with some code borrowed on the side of course) We were using MFC but that's not really cross platform is it? LOL please let me know what you think (I hope this doesn't get locked, although i casn't remember if i ever had a thread locked on here)

The fact the you posted in a forum with the description "A place for Ogre users to discuss non-Ogre subjects with friends from the community." is probably going to get this thread locked. However, I have been implementing Havok into my personal game the past few days. I am still learning as I am new to the Havok API. So far all I have is a heightfield/character controller but those are the hardest parts. If you are actually a coder I would be happy to learn with you, but if your just piecing code snippets together you might want to just keep on looking. If you are doing that, I would recommend Bullet/PhysX/Newton, as there are quite a few more samples around here than there are for Havok. Not to mention Havok's API changes drastically with every update, so most existing examples break a considerable amount over time.

*Moved to Recruitment*

Your should really alter the title of the post though, it isn't very descriptive, and you spelled proposition wrong. ;)
