Is it only me, or are there some minor troubles with the domain / server in the last days?

Several times when trying to visit the forums, I got a connection timeout. Some minutes later all was fine again. And no, it is not a general connection problem from my side.

So anyone noticed similar things or should it again be only me ?

Okay, I will then send Steve a PM to check whether he is aware of the situation. Perhaps the server logs will tell us what is going on...

Today I had trouble getting to this website.

At first I tried to get to ogre3d.org. That didn't work. I tried several times.

Then I googled and found a link to the forum and used that. It worked although a bit slowly. After that I got to the front page as well but that loaded slowly as well. I can get to other websites just fine.

Nothing in the logs. Either it was a temporary problem with DNS which wouldn't show up, or it was just general server load. Sometimes we get bouts of being hammered more heavily.

Next time it happens, please check via something like nslookup or dig to see whether the name is resolving properly.

That is weird. I can get the page on http://www.ogre3d.org/download/sdk (without s on https). Sadly the download link on the main page is pointing to the https version, which obviously doesn't work.

I've emailed sinbad, as it affects not just the SDK page, but pretty much all of those links on the main page. Why it's linking to the https version, I don't know.
