Right this has been bugging me for years, been trying to remember a title of a movie i saw when i was very young, i can only remember bits of the movie which doesnt help tracking it down. This is what i remember, its pretty unique so hopefully someone will know

1) A small weakly man jumps into a lake of some sorts with a sphere then emerges a massive warrior
2) A evil women who drains the life from people via a machine, i remember it showed tubes with blood i think draining through them,

Please for the sake of my contiuned sanity HELPP

I'm sorry I can't remember any such movie.

I've been having a bit of a similar problem in the recent few months. I have music playing in my mind and I have no idea whether I learned it from somewhere or did I make it up. I intend to play it with a flute some time and ask people can they recognise it. One day I actually forgot how it goes and it was a horrible feeling! I'll have to learn how to play a flute soon I guess.

If you remember a few lines in the movie, in fact sometimes just a few words, you can google on that. But you need to remember the exact words though..

It might be helpful to know an approximate age of the film. I.e. when you say you watched it when you were younger, how many years ago was that?

I've found several old movies like this, by tweaking keywords about what I was remembering, or a friend remembered.

I remember reading about a new movie search engine recently by finding them by a phrase said in the movie; I think this is it. Otherwise there is bound to be a few movie search engines to find by plot or a description.

What I don't understand is, was it an heroic fantasy movie? Or more modern times? What do you mean by "a massive warrior"? What kind of warrior? The context would help a lot.

Also, real actors or animated?

Not ringing any bells.
The weak guy turning into a massive warrior and mention of a sphere makes me think of Heavy Metal (the 4th or so segment of the movie was a weak guy who was transformed by the Loc Nar (green glowing sphere) into a warrior guy, and at one point he jumps into water), but I can't remember any life sucking tube machines or evil women. Plus I'm sure you'd mention if it was an animated movie.

I've tried imbd over the years with no leads,. I do remember that it a live action fantasy movie, I think I was about 8 or 9 when so that's 24 years ago so the movie must have been before 1986/87. I think a better way to describe the weak guy turning into a massive warrior, would be Andy Dick turning into Richard Kiel.

The thread is a bit old, but there is a lot of good info in it from people searching for old movies/shows they can't remember the title to anymore.
