For my needs it should export from Lightwave directly to .scene and .mesh with at least 8 UV maps and correct geometry and mapping.
The data sets are not large, I mainly work in the 64bit version for other reasons, if it is truly a showstopper I also have the 32bit version running.
I'm open to a variety of payment schemes including; I keep the exporter and sell it, you keep the exporter and sell it, or we release it free as open source and it can be a feather in your cap and win you the love and admiration of the Lightwave/Ogre community

I work in Lightwave 9.6 but eventually will have to switch over to 10, so the project can start in 9 and move to 10, or just develop for 10 and see how that goes.
You should have a copy of Lightwave. If you don't have one I may be able to talk NewTek into giving you one, if not, I have an extra license you can borrow.
I don't need animation or skeleton support but a saleable version would.
