Particle Universe 1.5 is out

Particle Universe is still alive and kicking. I wanted to share some new screenshots. It shows the new gizmos (move, rotate, scale) and a new feature to attach a particle system to a skeleton. The two images represent the perspective and orthographic camera view.

I already purchase and use the 1.4 in my games. Is that possible to get the 1.5 preview to have a try?

V1.5 (or a preview) is not available yet. It contains changes in the editor and a couple of bugfixes. No new features in the plugin. Most significant additions:

:arrow: Object (mesh, particle system) manipulation by means of move, rotate and scale gizmo's that work in both world- and object space, similar to packages like Unity 3D, Max 3D, etc.
:arrow: Object rotation by entering Euler angles.
:arrow: Importing (skinned) meshes by means of drag and drop from the file explorer to the Particle Universe Editor; this automatically opens a directory dialog to select the location(s) of dependent resources (skeleton files, materials, textures, ...).
:arrow: Select a bone from a skeleton and attach a particle system to it. Meshes with animation can be played (including the attached particle system). Particle systems can be oriented relative to the bone by means of the gizmo.
:arrow: Orthogonal and Perspective camera views.
:arrow: Demo for the Samplebrowser.

Particle Universe is a great piece of software. If anyone here has not yet purchased a copy I would highly recommend it.

I know this is off topic, but..

I've been trying to get my upgrade from 1.4 to 1.5 and I have received no email from fxpression. I have tried to log in to the forum but have no username or password, nor any email record of a username or password.

I have attempted to email the team at - info (at) fxpression (dot) com

But my mail just bounces back. Figured this might be a good place to try and catch SpookyBoo..

Any help would be appreciated.

I have an issue with PU 1.5.1 and Ogre (repo branch 1-9): ALL the particles are facing the same direction

The big red thing is a BillboardChain I manually put to test, and it rotates according to the camera. However, the PU system is one of the example explosion system, and faces the same position all the way through. As you can see, the "fire" technique is not facing the camera and never rotates. I tried to manually change Camera (I have only one camera in my scene anyway) with setMainCamera but no matter what I do it stays like this always facing this position. If I put the camera at the opposite direction, I can't see any particle, so ALL the particles are facing there.

What's going on? I tried manually set BBT_POINT and BBR_VERTEX in code, but still the same.

I don't know. Maybe something changed in Ogre after 1.8
I only use the stable branches anyway
