[PAID] C++ Ogre developer

A place for employers, project leaders etc to post if they are looking for people to assist with an Ogre-based project. Please only post in this area if you have a _serious_ project proposition for which you already have something to show for.

[PAID] C++ Ogre developer

Post by Johncclayton »

Hi All

I previously posted re: Ogre recruitment a few weeks back, and had a number of PMs that helped me resolve the problem. The response was far richer and giving than I had expected - so thank you to you all that replied!

I've now got some further tasks that need solving; with the same codebase - but this time I simply do not have the time to fix them myself. I work full time as a father & software engineer - enough said! :-)

So, I am interested in knowing who might be available to fix this - for cash of course. I have prepared a very basic document outlining the work that needs to be done, and the approach I'd like to take together - if you are interested, there's a bunch more detail in the PDF called 'overview.pdf' located here (I could not attach it, as the images made it > 250k):

The overview document:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/423620/OgreBins/overview.pdf (350k)
Win32 binaries:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/423620/OgreBins ... -win32.zip (19 Meg)
Mac binaries:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/423620/OgreBins ... ac.app.zip (70 meg)

In brief, the work is in 4 parts:
* to complete the "drag handle resizing" logic
* to implement content aspect ratio scaling
* to fix up an antialiasing issue
* to correct a problem with z-order while rendering

I am not sure how long this would take - gut feel says an experienced programmer can tackle this in 1-3 days full time work - but it really depends on your level of experience and how good a job I do of explaining what I need.

The PDF document linked above contains far more info - if you are interested, please read it and get into contact with me - I'm more than happy to talk to you about the project, answer questions and so on.

Thanks you,
--

Can't you put the document up at rapidshare or something similar? Thanks.

Hi all, I'm still looking for an experienced C++ Ogre developer to help with a video compositor project - if you are available and this is the kind of thing that interests you - please get into contact with me.

There is a lot more detail about what I'd like to achieve in the PDF of the original post.

Cheers
