.mesh import plugin for 3ds max 2012?
Hi guys, is there an importer available that will import either .mesh or .mesh.xml files into 3ds max 2012?

Not sure if OgreMax can handle this but a workaround could be, taking the Blender import, import it into Blender and then export to a format that Max can import natively.

some of the later versions in this thread should work.

but remember that importing a mesh and skeleton will never give you the original rig. you'll just get the bones that were skinned to the character, so any control objects are going to be lost.

What about meshes with no skeleton, like terrains?
