Hey guys, been coding for a while, but as I said in my maths query I am out of touch, was thinking of doing the game programming course at www.gameinstitute.com and was wondering if anyone has done it or seen their syllabus. I am kinda lazy at the moment so this is a problem, so if I was doing some actual course work I know it will be done.
Was specifically looking at their Foundation and Advanced studies packages.
If you know of anything similar that may be better let me know as well.
Thanks in advance

Re: Advice on a course
I haven't taken courses from there or other online places. The only courses I have taken have been as part of my degree. I have try lynda.com for some 3ds and blender stuff, but It is boring to me be watching videos... so it is a personal thing... I think I'm going to discontinue lynda.com soon... besides, I don't like to be using modeling tools that much, as I suck at it.
As far as learning how to program, most junior colleges will offer courses that can help you. I think books are also good... I learn a lot reading books and some online tutorials... Actually, I like the Ogre tutorials a lot... I like the way they look... but in some cases, with other sites, I have trouble with online tutorials... as I prefer hard copy always...
At the end, I'm trying to say, that is a matter of taste. maybe, if you give us your current background of knowledge/expertise, maybe you can be help better... (I haven't read all of your other post...)

Knowledge can't be pushed in ur head by another one, it only could be absorbed through your efforts.
