[SOLVED] OgreMax 3DS MAX - How to export scene correctly.

Hi,

Before posting, I try searching as much as possible and playing with 3ds max and ogre before posting. I'm using 3DS 2010 64 bit service pack 1 and windows 7. I don't know much about 3d max. I have a model that came in .max format.

Question: How to propertly export using OgreMax?

This is what I did
I selected all with edit -> all
I converted material to ogre material with OgreMax software menu option (under ogremax menu in 3ds.)
then I selected all again
and exported the scene with the ogremax menu.

I try loading this into ogre and the viewer that comes with ogremax but nothing comes out.

What's the contents of your .scene file and the ogre log?

Hi,
Please note that when I used .scene exported from blender, I can see them fine using the same program.
here is the content of the log. Remember that I'm using the Advanced framework from here:

The problem I was having was with the camera and material.

To fix the problem I did the following:

in 3ds max
1) Select All (Edit->Select all)
2) In 3ds Max, in the menu, OgreMax->Convert To OgreMax Material
3) I added a second camera (while I really didn't need this...but just in case)
4) I exported the scene , OgreMax->Export Scene

in my code, just to test, I added the values of my second camera(while I could have selected better.)
