[Paid] Artist needed for character model export and changes

A place for employers, project leaders etc to post if they are looking for people to assist with an Ogre-based project. Please only post in this area if you have a _serious_ project proposition for which you already have something to show for.

[Paid] Artist needed for character model export and changes

Post by robokind »

I have a 3d character model in both Maya and 3ds max, which were created from a SolidWorks cad file by a third party.
I had problems with generating a usable .mesh.xml and .skeleton.xml. I was able to export the Maya model to a .mesh.xml and .skeleton.xml with some warnings (posted below). The resulting model did not render well (images attached).

I need any potential rigging problems fixed, and a usable .mesh.xml and .skeleton.xml.
Besides exporting I need the model colored.

I am are looking for someone who can get this done quickly.
If interested, please send me a message with a time and cost estimate or any further questions.

Here are the warnings from the Maya exporter:

Maya Export Warnings:
22:03:41: WARNING: the mesh 'mayaExport' includes vertices with more than 4 bone assignments. The lowest weighted assignments beyond this limit have been removed, so your animation may look slightly different. To eliminate this, reduce the number of bone assignments per vertex on your mesh to 4.
22:03:41: WARNING: the mesh 'mayaExport' includes vertices without bone assignments. Those vertices will transform to wrong position when skeletal animation enabled. To eliminate this, assign at least one bone assignment per vertex on your mesh.
