Hi guys,
I'm wanting to draw some 2d spites using vector based graphics and then exporting them to bitmap so I can render on texture quads in ogre.
Can someone please recommend some drawing apps which will allow me to do this?
An example of graphics I want to create are from Zombieville USA. The graphics are made up of lines and flat colours.
From what I've been told, flash is a great tool for creating vector based animations. I'm just wondering where there are some more lightweight alternatives to flash and Corel draw.
Thanks.

Re: 2d vector drawing tool
Inkscape is a great 2d vector program. It's free, and can export to bitmap (as well as import bitmaps and trace them into vector art).
