Problem with skinning in 3dsmax (OgreMax)
I am having a weird issue (and I have had it many times before, without being able to figure it out), I am using a simple skeleton and a skin modifier on a mesh (editable mesh). Right now I just have a simple animation on one arm, however the animation isn't the issue. For some reason as soon as I apply a skin modifier, when I export my model any vertex that is not affected by a bone, just explodes off the screen and makes everything crazy! I suppose I can fix this by making sure every single vertex is weighted by a bone, but I feel like I must be doing something wrong. Is there something I am missing?
