I think they are posting here, and later on editing their posts or profiles with spammy links.

Jokes on them, the anti-spam code I wrote will automatically hide those posts.

The third and fourth spammers have almost identical ip addresses, but are from a different network than the first 2. However all 4 are from india.

I think watching tv show's one of the best source of entertainment.
I love to watch tv show's. My favorite show is pokemon.

Fifth post appears, same network as the 3rd and 4th, this time with a link for a pokemon website (that I edited out). The same ip was used to create two accounts, one used in this thread and another to make a new tv show thread (that I deleted).

Bot or not, wasn't there a rule somewhere that you can't start a topic in 'Lounge/Off-topic' until you were a somewhat established citizen?

According to me Entertainment must in life without enjoyment life become boring and stress. So we should bring entertainment in our life either watching Movies, TV shows and listening music becasuse entertainment help to reduce the stress and Tension in life.

I wonder if there's a plugin for phpbb that auto deletes anybody that replies to a specific trap thread. We can add one about tv and movies with a warning to normal users, then sit back and let the forum kill off the spammers for us.

Possibly, but it could be disastrous if one us replies to it by accident. What about just disabling the account?

These particular threads could be rendered invisible to the eyes of regular users using CSS styling, but still exist in the HTML code. This way, only bots would pick up on it, and as a result get banned.

The irrlicht forum used to have a spam trap board. Anybody that made a thread in it would have their account deactivated (or something, I'm not sure how they actually ran it)

Something like alexiss mentioned: a hidden-away offtopic section that is even more attractive for potential spambots than our current offtopic forum. One would need to take serious care to hide such a section away from users decently (not only CSS, but for example also masking it from search engines)
For eLinks (or varieties) users it would remain a problem, though.

You could use the inbuilt permission system, but you'd still need to hide it from regular non-logged in users though.

Otherwise young use cinema or net suffering for their leisure while children use to watch cartoon shows or playing on-line games for their entertainment. I am also depends on all these things for my entertainment.
