The code I'm using is the same provided by the intermediate tutorial about RTT. Searching around the forum I've read that a fix has already been submitted for this issue, but it seems the problem is not gone yet..

[Bug?] RTT doesn't work on OpenGL ES1
I've tried using RTT on OpenGL ES1 with Ogre 1.8 (i believe this is a supported feature) but it just shows a blank screen. The same code works fine with OpenGL ES2

I tested it yesterday and it works at least on my android devices
