[Bug?] RTT doesn't work on OpenGL ES1

I've tried using RTT on OpenGL ES1 with Ogre 1.8 (i believe this is a supported feature) but it just shows a blank screen. The same code works fine with OpenGL ES2
The code I'm using is the same provided by the intermediate tutorial about RTT. Searching around the forum I've read that a fix has already been submitted for this issue, but it seems the problem is not gone yet.. :?

I tested it yesterday and it works at least on my android devices
