where can I get the models

Hi, everyone, I'm new to ogre. And I have two questions about the models.
1. where can I get free ogre models(mesh files) from the internet. please offer me some websites or files.
2. what general tools do you guys use to create models and animation.

Check the wiki for a list.

I use Blender and think it's great. There's a lot of Ogre support for it.

For building ogre scenes I can highly recommend Ogitor.

I can also recommend to check the wiki. There's a whole section with suggested tools, assets and tutorials about creating content.
