3DS Max Exporter Errors

Using 3DS max 5.1, I had no problems installing the exporter, but when I click the button on the toolbar it gives me two errors:

This is the latest exporter from CVS in the Tools folder. I tried Hastur but had the same problems.
Something I'm doing wrong installing? Only works with max 6 maybe?

Try reading this. First of all, I have tested the exporter with the author "side by side" to help fix the error and test the new functions for MAX user. There is no problem and everything works just fine. My guess about your problem is you have not uninstall the previous version(s) of the exporter. You may need to trace back and wipe the files from the previous version first and reinstall.

semicolon is probably right. it seems that there is a problem with the setup.
Stick with the CVS version, it is better.

Thanks. Wiping scripts/ogre and rebooting 3dsmax after installing fixed the problems, both of which I had failed to do the first times 'round.

Thanks for the feedback.
Let me emphasize this a little for those who will come afterwards. This is A VERY GOOD IDEA TO REBOOT 3DSMAX AFTER INSTALLING the exporter. This might even be a better idea not to have max running when you install the script
I think this might help other people as you are not the first one to make that mistake. In fact, I think the first might have been ... me !
