As a team we are interested in making new and creative ideas. Innovation is important to us and we strive to change the way games are played. Currently we are working on a multiplayer sandbox game for PC, featuring a action-based combat system, a living-breathing world simulation, random terrain generation and town building. The game centers around exploration, conquest and survival for the player and their settlers to a new land.
We are looking for a second programmer who has experience with ogre3d. His or her responsibilities will include implementing the gui, terrain and custom shaders. This involves shadows and other post-processing effects. Overall you will be working closely with the artists to create the graphical features of the game.
Ambitious or not, we prefer the idea of taking a longer to achieve amazing results than to spend a short time developing the same old game that everybody has already played. The project will initially start out as voluntary, but we aim to make a career of this so once we get some income people can and will be paid for their hard work.

Re: Looking for Ogre3D Programmer
This does sound ambitious, but I think you may need to give some additional info to get more people interested.
Paid or not, involved libraries, etc.
Everything you can without telling stuff you really don't want to tell

Maybe you could add some links to your previous games (if any) or something about your game to attract some people.TheSHEEEP wrote:This does sound ambitious, but I think you may need to give some additional info to get more people interested.
