This is an animated movie version of Eric Powell's The Goon comic series.

If you've seen the concept trailer from a couple of years ago, you'll already know just how cool this will be. It's got David Fincher and Blur Studio making it, Clancy Brown and Paul Giamatti doing voices.

The Goon movie is finally getting under way.
Although note that this kickstarter is just the first stage: a story reel. That's a storyboard of the entire movie with music and sound effects. Showing this should be enough to get funding for the movie itself via the usual sources.
