Hello,
I was wondering if anyone has used a mixed board with OGRE or any other applications...
I was thinking that having a mix-board will be cool to control some interactive values... I mean a physical board...
Anything that can be programmed .... I guess I could built my own, but it would be nice that It was ready to be used, like a controller...
crazy idea?

Re: crazy idea?
Do you mean an audio style mixing deck?
I've been planning on buying a Behringer BCF2000, it's a usb/midi controller with 8 motorised faders (and a bunch of other controls).
That means I've got 8 sliders that not only return a value to my program, but the program can physically move them too.
(hypothetical program. I haven't started on it yet)
One use I'd love to have is something like photoshop, where 3 faders control the foreground colour. If you move the faders then the colour changes. If you use the eye dropper to pick a colour, the faders move to match.

Let me know if you get it before! is there sample code for it? I have to go and check the people's site.

Re: crazy idea?
The BCF2000 apparently isn't exactly the highest quality motorised fader around, and it's pretty loud based on the youtube videos, but it's cheap.
Thanks for the links, I'll check them out.
I really should get around to ordering one. I need to check at work first, might be able to get a discount (we've got deals with some audio companies, I don't know which ones).

It has a great price... of course, I was hoping for less... but it is a good price. What other ones have you looked at?
