* New Release of TagCMA version 1.29 *

Post by tgraupmann »

TagCMA is a collaborative model editor that works over the Internet. This is a tool you can use for games to create content. The best part of making content with this tool is the ability to create content collectively with other people. I'll post a little blurb about what's different and then a nice screenshot.

* New Release version 1.29 * http://sourceforge.net/project/showfile ... _id=306774

The most notable changes are:
* Major performance updates
* All aspects of the model are now collaborative (vertexes, colors and textures) -- Any change you do, you'll friends will see
* You can now import textures from a file into the scene (supports BMP,JPG,PNG)
* The server is now running on Linux with Apache/Mod Mono/XSP which was changed from originally using Windows/IIS

This is c00l! But it's probably worthless until you have a chat window in the editor...
Too bad... it's only for Windows. Well yeah, this could become a very know project I think.

It isn't. You better have plans of porting it or it will be moved from this forum, which is obviously meant for showing off projects built with Ogre.

Porting to Ogre

Post by tgraupmann »

Adding a chat window seems to be the most requested piece of functionality.

This app is written in C# .NET. I was curious how hard it would be to port to Ogre?

The client technology runs Windows.Forms with an OpenGL control. Is there an Orgre control that is easy to add to a Windows.Form?

You could look at axiom, which is a C# port of Ogre:
