iOS 64 bit SDK

Post by pptech »

Hi, a quick thank you to the people that produce the iOS SDK builds. Can I ask if the current SDK for V1.9 contains a 64 bit build and if not if there are any plans to include 64 bit in an upcoming release? The reason I ask is that Apple has just declared that from 1st Feb 2015 all apps must include a 64 bit version.

Thanks

Our iOS maintainer David just confirmed that the current SDK for iOS (as well as Mac OS X) should be "universal" meaning it runs on armv7, armv7s, arm64, etc. = runs on 32 and 64 bit.

Hello,
Just to add something. We've been using Ogre on 64bit arm for a while now (since the air came out) and it's been working great and we didn't have any teething problems (for once).

Kind Regards
