hello !
i'm a student and i must realize a project. i've begun it with ogre.
i've seen and installed the final version of ogre (1.0.0) but i've met a big problem.
Now the rain was black as you can see.

For the demo_water, the result is the same.

Can you tell me why ? is there a problem during compilation ?
for the installation of ogre and stlport, i followed the instruction of "the absolute newbie's guide" ^^ (thanks a lot for this page).
thank you to answer me if you know how to solve this problem !
(sorry for the approximative english, i'm a french student)

Take a look to the Azatoth notes in the Ogre Wiki. As I can remember, some features were moved from texture_unit to pass (see the Porting notes section). Are you using the new material scripts or the old ones?

ok so
the last version that was ok is the orgre 1.0.0 rc1
operating system : windows xp sp1
rendering system : direct3d 9 - direct3d 7 - opengl ---> same result
graphic card : geforce4 MX 440
driver version : 66.93

I use visual studio 2002, i installed stlport 4.6.2 and i do a build batch on the ogre.sln... there was a problem during compilation of demogui but at second build, all was ok.
i don't touch anything from the old code and i build my project like i compiled the old with ogre RC1.

I hope i take you all you need ^^

i'll go to the ogre wiki to search moer information...

thank you in advance
