Please don't cross post.

People are helping you in the help forum, despite the fact that all the information you need to know is available in the Ogre documentation, on the Wiki and in these forums.

Surprisingly enough the people who read (and might help you out) in the help forum are exactly the same people who read the "Using OGRE in practice" forum.

Yes, indeed :)
Go to http://www.ogre3d.org/wiki/index.php/Main_Page and navigate to http://www.ogre3d.org/wiki/index.php/Th ... de_to_OGRE.

@mauled:

I think I got your question now: You want to know the prerequisites for Ogre, right?
What tools, libs, etc. do you need to use Ogre?

A modern compiler with full STL support.
A recent 3D card.
The DirectX SDK (on Windows)

Anyway - I think you can find that information on the wiki - link is above. :wink:
