Great! And the best for Ogre's 1.x near future:
to make OGRE releases predictable, we will switch away to a feature based to a time based release model for the 1.x branch.

Neat! I haven't been on the board much recently but I'm working on my Ogre 1.10 project pretty intensely at the moment, so it's great to see a stable release.
I see mention of an Ogre 1.11. What's that about? Sounds interesting.

it will mostly remove the functions deprecated in 1.10 and switch to strict resource management. Maybe some backports from 2.0.mkultra333 wrote:I see mention of an Ogre 1.11. What's that about? Sounds interesting.

Re: [News] Ogre3D 1.10 released
1- I need help in building from download tar source code since I keep getting these errors :
ogre-1.10.7/OgreMain/src/OgreMaterialSerializer.cpp:562: error: reference to ‘ushort’ is ambiguous
cc1plus: error: candidates are: #‘tree_list’ not supported by dump_decl#<declaration error>
and
OgreMain/include/OgrePrerequisites.h:126: error: typedef short unsigned int Ogre::ushort
or
2- Obtain a pre-built binary to run on Redhat Linux platform.
I'm new to this forums and I'm trying to learn ogre.
