PlanarReflections and depth

If I grab the depth buffer from the PlanarReflections sample window, I seem to be seeing the depth of the mirror geometry. But if you want to render depth of field blurring, then you'd want the mirrors to contain the reflected depths instead. How hard would it be to make that happen?
