I am absolutly not a person that likes hypes or fandom of any kind. But Blizzard just impresses me. They've been doing almost everything right since more than a decade. Although I suppose there are a million other ways to make great and successful games for the PC platform - no one even comes close to them in implementing such a successful strategy. Fuck Crysis; in terms of style and consistency this looks way better. And kudos for keeping this a secret for such a long time.

They are in such a good position. They publish there own games, and make enough from things like WOW that they can take all the time they need to really polish the game until its done. It just shows when a team has that long to put effort into every last little part of the game.

Although I suppose there are teams and publishers that would end up with an unpolished game even if they'd been given infinite time :D If there is one thing I'd have to point out that seperates Blizzard's games from the rest it is that they never suffer from "feature creep".

I have been hanging out for Diablo III for years. I love this genre of game.

I am glad they have kept it isometric. I think that it would ruin the feel and become a different game if it were otherwise. I would imagine if it had a free moving camera system, it might just feel like a World of Warcraft rip and lose its own Diablo magic.

Looking forward to it! Was there an ETA on a release date?
